dc.description.abstractThe presentation advocates for informed social policies and strategies that include basic needs of migrant populations. Within a scenario of negative growth in agricultural employment, alongside brisk growth in services and construction and slower growth in manufacturing, most new employment is in the non‐farm informal economy sector. Vulnerable migrants’ labour is concentrated in casual work, informal self‐employment, and informal regular work.en
