Cambodia stands as one of the most youthful countries in the Asia Pacific Region. Youth employment is still concentrated in agriculture, the garment industry and the services sector. Youth employment still remains high at the rate of about 72 per cent of the total population aged 15 to 24. Low level of education, and educational quality, skill-mismatch and limited role of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), are found as the main challenges in youth employment, resulting in low productivity.en
