The 3-minute video depicts a home visit from a health extension worker. The women confer in the vernacular and play out a scene where the health worker answers typical questions and provides information regarding health issues in pregnancy (diarrhoea and breastfeeding). The video is part of a wider project, Innovating for Maternal and Child Health (IMCH) which raises awareness of “upstream risk factors” contributing to pregnancy complications: heavy work; domestic violence; lack of communication between spouses; and health danger signs.en
