This report draws from 26 projects that focus on the intersection between agriculture and climate change to better understand how climate stressors affect agricultural productivity, with the potential to exacerbate existing food insecurity and poverty. To facilitate adaptation to climate change, almost all the projects worked directly with farmers and their organizations. Results emphasize that Participatory Action Research (PAR) works best when it is implemented with full understanding of the context where it is delivered and with meticulous attention to methodology in that context. Change processes are slow, while yielding local solutions and community ownership of adaptation programs.en
