Rovinah is a married woman with 6 children. In this four-minute video she narrates her own story of joining “Healthy Child Uganda” (HCU). Through the program, women were educated about the cultivation of sweet potatoes and their health benefits, and given two bags of sweet potato “vines.” Rovinah’s work helped expand this successful program among her neighbours and local communities. Eventually she was able to sell more than enough produce to include paying school fees for her children. Rovinah has become a source of information and enthusiasm. You can hear the delight and pride in her voice.en
