Abstract

The study looks at gendered experiences of communication “rights” on the Internet with regard to how citizenship as a gendered phenomenon has been struggled over, reframed and reconsolidated during recent times in different countries. It focuses on gender politics that inform the field of censorship and surveillance in the Information Society.
