Item Accompagner des citoyens dans des actions d’adaptation aux changements climatiques(Institut de l’énergie et de l’environnement de la Francophonie (IEPF), 2009) Pruneau, Diane; Khattabi, Abdellatif; Kerry, JackieItem Assessing the regional impacts of climate change on economic sectors in the low-lying coastal zone of Mediterranean East Morocco(Coastal Education & Research Foundation (CERF), 2009) Tekken, V.; Costa, L.; Kropp, J.P.Complex interactions of human encroachment, climatic variability and sea-level rise lead to degradation of the coastal environment and hinder economic development, which in particular focuses on the tourism sector. Trends in regional climatic variability were assessed in terms of water availability and main water consuming activities. Analysis indicates there is no alternative for the development and implementation of comprehensive climate change policies and appropriate adaptation strategies. The agricultural sector, as the largest water consumer needs to modify current water management practices towards sustainability. Tourism development must consider the hydrological balance where demands exceed groundwater resources.Item Formulation et rédaction d'une proposition de recherche : manuel de formation(OSSREA, Addis Abeba, ET, 2007) Mmuya, MaximilianItem Developing and writing a research proposal : instruction manual(OSSREA, Addis Ababa, ET, 2007) Mmuya, MaximilianItem Rapport de synthèse de sessions plenières de l'atelier de développement des capacités CRDI/ACCA en evaluation integrée des risques climatiques(AGRHYMET, Niamey, NE, 2007) Badiane, DaoudaItem IDRC/CCAA Capacity Building Workshop on "Integrated Climate Risk Assessment" : workshop report(ICPAC, Nairobi, KE, 2007) IGAD Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC); University of Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD)Item Manuel de formation aux changements climatiques(AGRHYMET, Niamey, NE, 2007) AGRHYMET (Centre Regional de Formation et d'Application en Agrométéorologie et Hydrologie Opérationnelle); University of Cheikh Anta Dio (UCAD)Item IDRC/CCAA Capacity Building Workshop on "Integrated Climate Risk Assessment" : workshop training manual(ICPAC, Nairobi, KE, 2007) Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC); University of Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD)The Integrated Climate Risk Assessment workshop was held in Nairobi (2007). There are many reasons why a shared regional approach to adaptation makes sense. The workshop covered the science of climate change, vulnerability and adaptation assessments and research methods.Item Partenariat ACCA-organisations représentatives des groupes à risque, Dakar, 26-27 juillet 2007 : rapport d'atelier(CRDI, Dakar, SN, 2007) Kaeré, Alioune Badara; Denton, FatimaItem Partnership between CCAA and Organizations Representing At-Risk Groups, Dakar, July 26-27, 2007 : workshop report(IDRC, Dakar, SN, 2007) Kaeré, Alioune Badara; Denton, FatimaThe Climate Change Adaptation in Africa (CCAA) program seeks to give local organizations the opportunity to participate in identifying root problems and their solutions based on the participatory principles of action research.
