The ‘MicroVeg’ story report and project synthesis summarizes innovation in field production practices, from fertilizer micro-dosing and optimum water management through to innovation in food processing and value addition. Indigenous vegetables marketing in both Nigeria and Benin Republic is predominantly female-dominated with over 90.0% female participation in both countries. This project exceeded the number of farmers planned for the project period, reaching a total of 337,931farmers (50.6% female). The scaling up objective of the MicroVeg project was achieved through professional and technical support of five non-governmental organizations (NGOs).en
