dc.description.abstractThis report captures workshop lessons and experiences in school feeding and school gardening programmes, with researchers attending from Benin, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Laos, Myanmar, Nigeria, and the Philippines. The resulting document is designed to provide decision-makers and practitioners with evidence and information on good practices to strengthen local, national, or regional school gardens and school feeding efforts. Workshop aims encompassed best practices and lessons learned; linkages with local food production; relevance of school gardens as platforms for food security interventions; status of policy support in implementing school feeding programs; and opportunities and barriers identified in programme efforts.en
