Executive Summary Reporten
This inaugural workshop brought together the African Adaptation Research Centres (AARC) research teams to learn more about each other’s research projects, to identify key opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing regarding climate adaptation, and to learn from subject-matter experts and policy-makers with a view to further strengthening projects. Researchers identified specific mechanisms to connect with local or national policy-makers and other AARC researchers. Teams discussed effective communication strategies and ways to engage with the media, especially in preparation for COP-17.en
