dc.description.abstractThis document provides a record of the Conference as prepared by the various rapporteurs from the National Research and Education Networks (NRENs). Paper presentations included topics on the Impact of Connectivity on Researcher Behaviour; Access to Global Research Information; Infrastructure; Expanding e-learning initiatives; and papers and panel discussions on African NRENs. Limited scope for agriculture, coupled with stagnant industrial growth has led to temporary or long-term migration of family members (mostly male), in search of alternative sources of livelihood.en
