dc.description.abstractThe initial question of “what role can ICTs play in water stressed contexts?” became “what exactly are the water stresses experienced in a particular context?” This report details activities and presentations addressing water-related impacts of climate change, and the possible applications of information and communication technologies in water-stressed contexts. A challenge for participants was locating the discussions and ideas within their own local context, within regional specificities, and according to the frameworks of their specific experiences and disciplines. This has implications for scalability of projects.en
