This document is an Agenda for Action for the transition of food systems. These are recommendations that point to paths of necessary changes - and how to achieve them - to transform the way food is produced, distributed, offered, and consumed. The hegemonic way these processes have been conducted in the past decades is leading to a sickened population and environment, accelerating the impacts of climate change, and putting at risk the basic right to adequate and healthy food. Current challenges, combined with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, make it clear that the need for food systems that promote health and contribute to environmental preservation has become urgent.en
