dc.description.abstractDuring the first four years of Phase II (2006 – 2010), the GEH program managed 97 projects, with recipient institutions in 34 countries. GEH supports Southern researchers and institutions committed to democracy, health equity and social justice by enabling knowledge-generation and exchange, and by influencing how research on health systems is conducted and applied, especially in the context of health reforms. This evaluation report presents some of GEH key research findings, summarizes GEH’s three most significant interlinked program outcomes, provides brief reflections on challenges faced in relation to each of these three outcome categories, and summarizes lessons learned.en
