Abstract
CASE (Customs Automated Services) is a Customs back-end entry processing system that facilitates Internet based transactions of customs brokers and commercial importers. The CASE transfer project is of regional and international significance, an important example of south-south cooperation in the sharing of expertise and knowledge. This report provides detailed documentation of the transferring process, for the benefit of any other Caribbean country considering similar transfers. Customs Renewal includes the reengineering of Customs operational processes and the development of new technology infrastructure, computer systems, software applications to support these processes, that also improves revenue and reduces expenses.
