The research focused on examining the effect of condensed distillers solubles (CDS): wet distillers grain (WDG) blending ratio and drying conditions on the protein quality and physico-chemical characteristics of wheat distillers dried grain with solubles (DDGS). Product variability is one of the challenges that currently confront wheat DDGS production in western Canada. This detailed study provides tables of characteristics, comparisons and other research results. It assesses the effects of CDS, microwave power, and microwave convection settings on the physico-chemical characteristics of wheat distillers DDGS. It also provides baseline information that may help address existing production, handling, storage, and utilization challenges.en
