dc.description.abstract | Greater autonomy for women is linked to improvements in maternal and child health, nutrition, and food security. The ‘Fish on Farms’ project has demonstrated the practicality of empowering women through technical training and knowledge transfer. As fishponds are often managed by women, they in turn manage the extra income that is generated. Recent research suggests that the productivity of these ponds can be significantly increased through relatively simple strategies. | en |
