dc.description.abstractIsrael is the only country in the MENA region to improve its ranking in this fourth edition of the Open Data Barometer (ODB) newsletter, and remains the only one in the global top 50. Countries in the region have made no progress on open data implementation and barely improved on open data readiness. The momentum the region had when most countries began their initiatives appears to have faded. No government in the region publishes data, open or closed. The ODB measures how governments are publishing and using open data for accountability, innovation and social impact.en
