This report presents a summary of the achievements, challenges and experiences of the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA-Kenya) during its partnership in the Think Tank Initiative (TTI) for the ten-year period from 2009 to 2019. The TTI enabled scaling up of the capability of internal staff to undertake high quality and relevant policy research in Kenya. Through the provision of financial and other material resources, IEA-Kenya built up its in-house research capacity and has become virtually self-reliant in generating knowledge consequential to understanding and making policy in Kenya. The report provides insight into activities and outcomes of the programme.en
