Defining North America as the territory from the Arctic to Panama, including the islands of the Caribbean, the Programme aims to study the continent in a way that is integrated and cohesive, crossing disciplinary boundaries and providing new insights into similarities and differences that characterise the regions. This report summarises the main activities and outputs produced by Dr Julián G. Salazar Domínguez, the post-doctorate award holder. By comparing recent reforms in Canada, Mexico and the United States, his project seeks to better understand the main drivers and outcomes of social policies across development levels.en
