The World Refugee Council was established in 2017 with the objective of developing innovative ideas aimed at stimulating transformative change in the way the world perceives and responds to refugees and those forcibly displaced. The report contains recommendations based on three glaring shortcomings in the present international refugee system: lack of accountability; ineffective responsibility-sharing and governance; and inadequate funding. A summary of outputs, activities, links to research and publications, as well as budgetary statements are included.en
