This report shows how the Singapore government has played a key role in the development of the national innovation system (NIS), not least through its innovation financing schemes. The paper discusses various public innovation financing schemes available in Singapore in the context of the developing national innovation system (NIS). It provides details of most aspects of innovation systems, institutional frameworks and financial schemes in operation in the country. As a whole, technology commercialization schemes are the most recent, with technology commercialization receiving more emphasis from the mid-2000s.en
