dc.description.abstractThe key training needs in TransMara, Ijara and the Tana Delta proposed by stakeholders are grouped into: improved agronomic practices, awareness of climate change and attendant impacts, water harvesting and conservation, agribusiness technologies, pests and diseases control, and capacity building in conflict resolution. Stakeholder training needs are varied and site specific and generally hinge on key livelihoods. In Trans Mara a total of 162 stakeholders attended the meetings, in Ijara 154 stakeholders, and in Tana River 223.en
