dc.description.abstract35 important legal cases are observed and reviewed that uphold constitutional and human rights-based rulings on right-to-housing. There is a need for specific laws and legal frameworks governing evictions, as procedural protection for vulnerable populations. Often land is expropriated from informal settlements and the former inhabitants “resettled”.
