The general objective of this research project is to generate knowledge on climate related hazards in the Indus Basin of Pakistan and their impacts on marginalized communities. The methodology used for data collection followed a two-way process. Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools were used in order to extract the needed information in a standardized manner. A Shared Learning Dialogue (SLD) format was then employed in order to share the results with the participants. Through focus group interviews with community members, households that had recovered relatively faster from the flood than others were identified.en
