dc.description.abstract | Vietnam is in a global region where climate change will have the largest impact. In the case of a temperature increase over 2°C, with sea level rise higher than 1 meter, there would be 22 million people mobilizing, a fifth of the population would lose their homes and 45% of the agricultural area in Mekong Delta would disappear. The report is comprehensive in covering impacts of, and strategies towards climate change adaptation. The agricultural sector will be hard it, as plants can not adapt to conditions of salinization, and as well, along with lack of feed sources, animals will be more prone to climate sensitive diseases. | en |
