dc.description.abstractThrough Masava, MEDA is helping oil millers in Tanzania connect to a vitamin A supply chain and fortification technology so they can enhance their oil’s nutrition to meet national and regional standards. Sokoine University of Agriculture provides training in good manufacturing practices and MEDA links businesses to a network of retailers who can sell the oil to consumers. MEDA’s partners at the University of Waterloo and Sokoine University to measure the impact of the fortification on vitamin A deficiency.en
