This update provides the current status of women engaged in the project (2021). The Financial Alliance for Women partnership with IDRC “Closing the gap for Women’s Financial Inclusion: The Business Case,” built upon the Alliance’s best practices in developing holistic financial solutions for women, and focuses on supporting financial service providers (FSPs) in designing and implementing sustainable Women’s Market programs. Between 2017 and 2020, the Alliance increased its membership base by 30%, expanding in emerging markets including Latin America and Africa. The project also assists FSPs in designing and refining financial experiences that serve women and embed women-centered strategies into their core business.en
