| dc.description.abstract | The Pan Asia Networking Programme works with Asian institutions to help them better understand complex issues relating to the ‘information society’. The vision is to provide accelerated and broad access to ICTs at the community level, and especially among urban and rural poor people. One of its objectives is to undertake pilot demonstrations, proof-of-concept, experimental and applied research ICT projects in disadvantaged communities within target countries in Asia.
