Senegalese subsistence farmers struggle with pronounced shocks through purchase prices and droughts. The paper assesses the impact of these shocks on child health in a “multi- shock” approach, to account for concomitance of adverse events from natural, biological, economic and health spheres. The analysis of research findings shows that droughts explain up to 43% of standard deviation of child health, and increased prices explain up to 25%. This paper reports on the study methodology, the survey, the resulting datasets, and the analysis of findings as they relate to policy making.en
