Timely development of research capacity, ICT4D public policy generation, and advocacy among policy decision makers, can contribute to poverty alleviation. For this to occur, researchers, policy and political decision makers trained in research processes, the regulatory process, advocacy and the implementation of ICT4D public policy are needed. The project has sought to integrate the American Communication Research Network (ACORN-REDECOM) network with the CPRSouth network, a research initiative that covers the global South. The website was redesigned with use of a server dedicated exclusively for the network’s use, in order to increase connectivity between research and policy.en
