The main aim of the 7Up4 project was to raise the capacity of national stakeholders on competition policy and law issues, so that they could contribute towards the process of competition reforms. Governments need to provide greater attention and support to competition enforcement processes. This two-year project entitled ‘Strengthening Constituencies for Effective Competition Regimes in Select West African Countries’, known as the 7Up4 project (being the 4th in the series of 7Up projects), was implemented in seven countries: Burkina Faso, The Gambia, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo.en
