The major question arising from the study is the issue of the suitability of the host organization to undertake a free access to law project. Collecting and uploading current judgments from the courts in Malawi is the main project of MalawiLII. However, MalawiLII publishes a severely limited collection of the consolidated and numbered laws of Malawi, and there is no formal strategic plan for MalawiLII that includes a targeted audience. Law reports have not been published since 1998 and there are no commercial databases of Malawian law. The re-introduction of foreign support, such as Kenya Law Reports, may be a step forward.en
