Due to the huge number of systems on the Internet and the lower number of available addresses on IPv4, transition from IPv4 to IPv6 is necessary. The migration from IPv4 to IPv6 must be implemented node by node (Network Address and Port Translation) by using autoconfiguration procedures. It can not be done in the instant. The presentation discusses the how and the why of IPv6 deployment, and includes the BitTorrent phenomenon.en
