dc.description.abstract	The production of exploratory case studies gives insight into the situation within Latin America of the interface between such complex variables as health, the environment and precarious urban settlements. The studies point to how quickly the nature of poverty and environmental challenges change in the region, with results indicating that the demands on poor neighbourhoods and the burden on health of marginalized inhabitants are also more severe. Project activities, research outputs, and events are outlined in this report.	en
