dc.description.abstractThis 3 year project (2011-2014) is aimed at building capacity for Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI) to undertake climate change adaptation studies within the agricultural context and to utilize research results to develop and improve adaptation strategies in the three Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) districts: Transmara, Ijara and Tana Delta. The overall aim of the project is to enhance agricultural productivity and improve resilience of agricultural livelihoods in selected agro-ecological systems in Kenya in a changing climate.en
