dc.description.abstractThe presentation charts the upward trends in obesity in children and adult populations in Brazil. Comparisons to the United States and Mexico are provided. Types of food and beverages purchased and consumed are presented in graphs, as well as price elasticity of food groups. Regulatory policies related to farm-to-school programs are discussed with a view to promoting local food systems.en
