dc.description.abstractExternal Reviews at IDRC begin with the program analyzing its own achievements in a final prospectus report which outlines the program’s strategy and evolution, significant outcomes and the main lessons from the program’s experience. An external review panel consisting of three independent experts then judges the appropriateness of program implementation, the quality of research outputs, and the relevance and significance of program outcomes. The external review also identifies key issues for consideration.en
