dc.description.abstractThe African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is at the forefront of key discussions addressing the scientific and technical skills gap in Africa. AIMS participates in global discussions on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with key stakeholders, including the recently held World Economic Forum on Africa, the University of Michigan’s Biennial STEM-African Initiative conference and the African Union’s ministerial meetings. Reviews of events, partnerships, innovations and fellowships, as well as links to longer articles are provided in the AIMS bulletin.en
