Abstract
The aim of strategic events is to enhance the impact of existing research in Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) focal countries in Africa and Asia. The report provides a breakdown of activities and outcomes with specific detailed reviews of Knowledge Accelerator labs in Africa and Asia. For instance, in Nepal key points for discussion included a food, water and energy focus along with integration of gender and social inclusion; the need for financial resources for environment management; capacity building for climate planning and mitigation at the local level; and a possible model village development under a CDKN project in Nepal.
