MicroVeg Newsletter February 2017 : project update
Abstract
This Newsletter highlights two scaling up models: the Satellite Dissemination Approach (SDA) and the Innovation Platform (IP) are being used by MicroVeg Project to expand the reach of agronomic and water management technologies, seed production and value addition technology. The bulletin discusses challenges of scaling up activities and reports at the Innovation Platform by identifying key issues, challenges and possible interventions. It highlights gender and group dynamics and features steps to identify and engage stakeholders in the scaling up process. MicroVeg's Young Vegetable Scientists Club (YVSC) is fully launched and government-approved to work with schools.
