Abstract
This report looks at attempts at using ICTs to mitigate and adapt to climate change and for the management of e-waste in Egypt. The report offers a perspective on status of information and communications technologies (ICTs) and environmental sustainability under the last period of the Mubarak regime. It documents the key stakeholders involved, offers an overview of the policy and legislative context, analyzes challenges and trends, and identifies several key areas for civil society advocacy.
