Abstract
Partnership Africa Canada (PAC) works with key partners in North America, Africa and Europe to break the link between conflict and diamonds and to optimize the distribution of wealth created by diamonds and other natural resources. PAC also supports projects designed to improve the quality of life of artisanal miners even in non-conflict zones. This report reviews PAC supported projects, efforts in monitoring implementation of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) at the national level (watchdog role), advocating for structural improvements to the KPCS at the global level (governance role), as well as policy research, publications and other venues for advocacy.
