The workshop addressed the topics, analytical and data issues raised in shortlisted proposals received in the latest round of the Competition Research for Economic Development (CRED) Project (2010). The workshop aimed at giving general instruction from highly qualified resource persons in research methods and in competition policy issues related to the subjects of the proposals, which included public procurement, retail finance, food, telecommunication, and evaluation of competition interventions. This report also contains lists of participants, presentation topic summaries, and conference scheduling.
