This pilot project addressed the insufficient emphasis on women’s realities in discourses on poverty reduction, particularly in the context of the legal empowerment of the poor (LEP), and on sharing knowledge about women’s economic rights. Collaborative technologies facilitated voice, video, and web-conferencing towards more efficient and effective collaboration within LEPnet, allowing members to meet and share information. Through LEPnet, IDRC researchers could share their research and collaborate with local partner organizations and independent researchers working in the global South.Text1 digital file (33 p.)enGENDER DISCRIMINATIONGOVERNANCECOLLABORATIONPOVERTY REDUCTIONACCESS TO JUSTICEPROPERTY RIGHTSFOOD SECURITYWATER SECURITYWOMEN'S EMPOWERMENTGENDER ROLESPOVERTY ALLEVIATIONADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICEWOMEN'S PARTICIPATIONLEGAL TRAININGRESEARCH NETWORKSGLOBALNORTH-SOUTH COOPERATIONLABOUR RIGHTSLEPnet.org : International Applied Research Learning Network on Poverty and Human RightsFinal Technical Report
