The study explored the development of viable control strategies and more equitable interventions to cope with AI, especially in vulnerable households, by analyzing the socio-economic impacts of AI outbreaks and control measures on backyard and small producers. All three countries involved (China, Indonesia, Viet Nam) applied various AI control measures, and the research compares their application and outcomes. Overall, the control measures were implemented more effectively in China and in Vietnam.1 digital file (21 p.)enECONOMIC IMPACTBIOSECURITYPOULTRYAVIAN INFLUENZASMALLHOLDERSZOONOTIC DISEASESSOCIO-ECONOMICSFARMERSDISEASE CONTROLFOOD SAFETYCHINAINDONESIAVIET NAMFAR EAST ASIARegional report on socio-economic impacts of HPAI outbreaks and control measures on small-scale and backyard poultry producers in AsiaIDRC-Related Report
