Two communities of local environmental committees emerged during the project through which the adaptation process will be further developed. Through “photovoice” the project connected with local people’s perspectives, understanding, and daily experiences. Photovoice is a qualitative method used for community-based participatory research to document and reflect local realities.Text1 digital file (19 p.)enCLIMATE CHANGERESILIENCEADAPTIVE CAPACITYEL SALVADORPHOTOVOICEMEANING-MAKINGCLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATIONPOLLUTIONCOMMUNITY-BASED PARTICIPATORY RESEARCHPHOTOGRAPHYVISUAL COMMUNICATIONCOMMUNITY POWEREMPOWERMENTNORTH-SOUTH RELATIONSNORTH AND CENTRAL AMERICAExploring community resilience and human development in the context of climate change adaptation in El Salvador and CanadaFinal Technical Report
