Moreover, some field surveys indicate that farmers lack information on proper use of GM technology. China’s Bt seed industry is growing and diversifying, however it is not clear if the seed market is sufficiently transparent and well regulated enough to provide farmers with information about products so they can effectively utilize new seeds.
