The evolution of this phenomenon must be carefully considered, owing to the interdependence between state and non-state security service providers inherent in crime prevention strategies. Through an assessment of international and local perspectives of public-private partnerships engaged in the provision of security, this literature review seeks to investigate what crime prevention strategies entail.
