Academics in medicine and nutrition often fail to recognize the potential conflicts of industry-sponsored research. The study systematically reviewed a total of 4017 articles from Medline, 3 from Business Source Complete, 1065 from ProQuest, 4 from ERIC and 104 from the Chronicles of Higher Education. No articles were found that investigated the attitudes of public health academics toward accepting funds from industry.
